    Hi Sisi,

Welcome and Happy New Year from North Palm Beach, Florida.

In my opinion, you just found yourself an amazing barre cord teacher and a whole lot more!

This is a wonderful and supportive group.

So, as soon as you get the barre cords down,  what songs will you be playing?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,

    Hi Chris and welcome.

    I’m Alan from South Florida,

When you get to be my age, you will have been playing for years!  I wish you all the fun learning and playing that i have had with Tomas  and his teaching method.

Of course I started playing ( playing gives it a feeling that wasn’t actually accurate:) when I was 65. Found Tomas about two years later,

so glad I neither listened to those who said it was to hard for me , I’d never play. Or that Was to old to learn  that’s their story, not mine

Have fun, and what type music excites you?

    Whatever it is, welcome

    Hi Brandon,

I’m Alan from South Florida. Nice to meet you!

Sounds like you live in a really cool place. If I had known about your town sooner, I probably would have made a special trip to Arkansas when my Brother in law lived there!

What type of music are you interested in playing? Whatever it is, from my experience, you selected the right teacher!

    Wishing you all the best.

Hi and welcome.  I don’t know anything about being a Grandma, but, I do know that my learning to play the guitar, and have fun came about from listening to Tomas.

I also, kid that I am, wandered off and jumped ahead, only to return to his method of teaching – and moved forward!

In the end, it’s all good, and nice to meet ya!

    Wishing you the best,

    Alan

    Tomas,

Thank you for a wonderful lesson tonight.

I noticed that after following your suggestions as to technique for strumming and watching you,

I was able to maintain the same timing by copying your motion without looking at my guitar.

    Definitely a win!

    Warm regards,

    Alan

    Hi Chris,

I am Alan from South Florida. It’s nice to meet you.

For me, having had really no musical experience to begin with,  my good luck came with finding Tomas and a method of learning that really works.

    Wishing you all the best.

    Tom,

That sounds like a great idea.

    I’m in!

Now for the weather, a leaf it appears just moved, so there is a hint of a breeze! 83 degrees today and beautiful. Although I really enjoy the real changes of season.

    Hi Helen,

    Nice to meet you.

I’m Alan Wayne and I’m in South Florida and very much like you my dream was to play the guitar.  I was taking private lessons and not moving forward, then I found Tomas sometime ago and it was exactly what I needed.,  I continue this combination still.  and when asked what would you like to work on it seems to match Tomas’s lesson.

    Enjoy the journey,

    alan

    Hi Terry,

    Alan Wayne from South Florida,

Welcome and nice to meet you. Turned 69 on Friday, needed a guitar teacher that I taught in a style that I could learn from and Tomas is all that and more.

    Sincerley,

    Alan

    Hi Terry,

My name is Alan Wayne and it’s nice to meet you. I found Tomas’s methods of teaching to be the very best for me. I had been taking lessons for about two years at the time, and my determination to learn to play kept me however , my progress was between slow and horrible. Now, the improvement is noticeable and more than just blindly practicing. Now my practice is becoming playing  with purpose!

    Warm reguards,

    Alan
