TomasAdministratorWelcome Dale from Michigan! Glad you made it. I’m curious what brand your guitar is?
I look forward to supporting you on your guitar playing journey.

P.S. What’s the “frozen thumb”?
TomasAdministratorHi Jack,
Thanks for participating in the community.
Maybe you could share the link to the video for everyone.
Also, let me know if you can think of a way I could improve on the lesson. I’d be happy to create one myself… just don’t want to rehash something that’s been done without adding to it.

TomasAdministratorHi Debra,
Yahoo! … my first request 🙂
First, here’s a chromatic exercise that I still use as part of my own warmup:Â https://realguitarsuccess.com/topic/chromatic-exercise-part-1-speed-developer-3/
It’s not a true chromatic scale because there are a few duplicate notes.
If you find this difficult you’ll see earlier in the course there’s a version #1 in the version #2.
Second… I’d be happy to create a lesson on the chromatic scale. I’ll have one ready in a day or so.
TomasAdministratorHi Terry. Welcome! Great to have you on board.
I look forward to supporting you with your guitar playing.

TomasAdministratorHi Debra,
Glad you figured it out, but feel free to ask for help any time.
Also, IÂ usually include a workbook with the chord fingering (and sometimes TAB), and have the video to show the proper motion.

P.S Thanks for being the first to venture into the Community Help Forum… you are awesome Debra!
TomasAdministratorWow… music city! That’s cool! Hi Sherri,
Welcome! It’s great to see both you and Tom here in the community.
Sounds like a nice guitar.
I look forward to supporting and encouraging you.
Let me know some things you’d like to learn (Quick Win section is best).
I have a list of courses/lessons I want to create to add to RGS 2.0, but I’d rather tailor what I do first to current students.
Bye for now Sherri,
Tomas
TomasAdministratorHi Tom … good name 🙂
I’m happy to see you here in the RGS 2.0 community. I look forward to supporting both you and Sherri.
Hey… let me know if you if you have some ideas for new lessons. I have a list of my own but I’d rather take requests.
Take care Tomas.

TomasAdministratorHi Cleta,
Welcome. Glad to hear you’re ready to get “serious” about playing acoustic guitar… (not too serious I hope). I look forward to supporting you.
-Tomas
TomasAdministratorHi Tony… welcome to RGS 2.0. You are not alone with the bar chords. I hope you’ll make some requests of things you’d like to learn in the Quick Win section of this forum. I’m looking forward to supporting you.
-Tomas
TomasAdministratorThank you very much Cleta. I’m glad you can be here. This site is the culmination of what I envisioned for teaching guitar online and I aim to put my whole heart into it.

TomasAdministratorWelcome Chele. I look forward to supporting you.
-TomasP.S. I envy you a little being able to sing.
TomasAdministratorWelcome Helen. I’m a mature learner too. I started taking voice lessons for the first time in my life about 4 months ago. I’ve heard people say that because I play guitar it would come easy for me… NOT! I’m glad you decided to take up the challenge and I look forward to supporting you.

TomasAdministratorVery good Jay 🙂 I’m glad to have you here. Welcome!
