TomasAdministratorWelcome Laura,
I’ve made you a short video. Click this link: https://www.useloom.com/share/fc74fe0b93f747deb4960bd77297684d
Would you like any suggestions on where to get started?
Tomas
TomasAdministratorHi Sue,
I’m glad to hear you’re starting with the Beginner’s Journey. There are many things covered in there that will help you tremendously with future lessons besides playing the individual notes. Here’s the trick to play all the lessons without having to download them: https://www.useloom.com/share/2e989ea047154cdb942a087337ce5cd7
The Quick Wins are not downloadable at this point. It would be a big project to make them downloadable and it means I would make less Quick Wins just because of time constraints. I still may go back and do it at some point but it’s not top on my list. Right now the priority is Beginner’s Journey | 3rd Adventure.
Please let me know if this trick I showed you works. If not let me know a few Quick Wins that you could really use and I’ll make them downloadable.

Anytime you think of a question or you’d like some help please feel free to ask. I usually answer pretty quickly because I’m kinda on the computer a lot.
Tomas
TomasAdministratorYou’re very welcome Jeff.
I’ll be doing a live lesson this Thursday. Can you think of any question I can answer during the show? It will be recorded so you can watch at your convenience.

TomasAdministratorHi,
Here’s the link to get directly to RLS102:Â https://realguitarsuccess.com/courses/rapid-learning-system-102-chords-and-strums/
I apologize for the confusion.
Here’s a short video to show you how to find all the course modules:Â https://www.useloom.com/share/243ec003a7e14bda84d4257e11b561c9
Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to improve getting around.

TomasAdministratorHi David,
1. Each week I include a theory lesson in the Friday practice sessions. I am going through a cycle and covering different areas… Right now I’m focusing on intervals and ear training.
2. If you’d like to spend more time on the theory the next place I would look is the Practical Theory section in the top menu under PRACTICE. There you’ll find a variety it of lessons on different subjects.
3. And finally, you can find additional lessons in the RGS Library (left menu).I’ve deliberately tried to integrate theory little by little and in a very practical way so it’s not just an intellectual study (like it was at the University for me).
Is there a particular area that you would like to know more about?
Tomas
TomasAdministratorI like the sign idea 🙂
I think having an extra guitar is great. I’m all for making it more convenient to practice.
Tomas
TomasAdministratorHi John,
I made you your very own short video 🙂

Tomas
TomasAdministratorHi John,
It’s good to hear from you. Thank you for taking the time to tell me about what’s going on for you.
First the short answer… Yes, absolutely. Many people have learned to play guitar with similar issues, and other with what could be considered even more insurmountable issues.
I also realize this doesn’t make what you’re going through any less frustrating.
Know that you are not alone in this.
I’ll recommend you watch this lesson (if you haven’t already).
https://realguitarsuccess.com/courses/guitar-tips-for-fat-fingers/
Watch all the way to the end. The techniques I teach are NOT the most important point.
Also, it would benefit you greatly to go step by step through the Beginner’s Journey roadmap.
https://realguitarsuccess.com/courses/starting-new/
Take your time and do the steps one at a time. Ask questions (you did good!).
In the end it will come down to your ability to take things one step at a time, and at least somewhat to enjoy the process while acknowledging your small wins. It’s not easy, especially in a society that is geared towards instant gratification. But there are benefits that you will find far beyond just playing a few songs.
Tomas
TomasAdministratorHi Bill,
Welcome! I’ve recorded a video just for you with some coaching based on what I know about you so far (beginner, taking private lessons, website moving a little too fast, etc.)

I’ve love to provide more feedback and guidance… let me know how it’s going in the Community Help Forum.
Bye for now,
Tomas
