Confused on Sure and Steady TAB

I’m confused by the TAB provided. Am is played twice then E is played twice repeated then E is played followed by G. Seems the E cord is missed after the Am? I’m I reading this wrong?

Also, I added the above question the comments on that lesson does anyone see the comment and can they respond?

Loving the lessons, I’m a real newbie!

Yes, during the week I look and answer questions in the comments and forum. When I’m traveling it may take an extra day or so to get to it.
