Now that you’re getting used to the notes on the sixth string, let’s change it up and move on to the fifth string. The A string is just as important to know. That’s because standard full barre chords start on the fifth and sixth strings.
The chord shapes will be different between the two strings. So for now we’ll use power chords to learn the notes.
By the way, it might be easier to memorize the natural notes and use that as a guide to find the sharps and flats. Over time you’ll just know all of the notes. But this can simplify things for you for now.

Tomas, Awesome Awesome Awesome, learning a new string with power chords love it! i parked here for a little bit and got real familiar with the notes on the 5th string, i need more practice with the 5th string, so looking forward to more lessons with this power chords on the 5th string which i now see how all this is building up to the barr chords
