Common chord patterns aren’t key specific. They’re a pattern of chords you can use in any key. We’re going to play this one in the key of C. You could move every chord up two frets (one whole step) and just as easily play it in the key of D.
The big takeaway for right now is hearing the pattern. And of course practicing power chords.
We’ll use the palm muting technique we learned in the last lesson. The song is a little faster, so spend some time practicing this before moving on to the next lesson.
