tomas . ? when playing G,C,D,A power chords it seems like your index finger is flat on string and the rest of your fingers are on the tip.. is this the correct way to learn the barre chord motion

Hi Paul, it can go either way. The index finger doesn’t affect the rest of the notes… unless you completely flatten it and create a full barre chord. This will make more sense as you progress through the course.
I’m thinking about what would be important for you to know. I think it’s this… The place to put attention is on getting the other fingers on the tips. That’s where some have problems.
