tonyMemberTake small steps. Go slow. Enjoy every small win. There is no end goal to learning the guitar. It is a continuous process.
The various lessons are all good.

tonyMemberHi Shulamit,
Very impressive. You are getting to grips with this much faster than I am. I am still trying to get a flamenco strum that doesn’t sound lumpy..
Great work to do your own research into the scales and then use it.

tonyMemberHi Terry,
Also your age and learning guitar.
Enjoy each small win and move forward. I know I will never play like my guitar heros, but that is not the point.
I just want to enjoy the progress. Best wishes on your journey.

tonyMemberHi Shulamit,
Thanks for the tip. I will give it a try and see if it helps me. Tomas suggests playing the A chord with the first finger across the D and G strings and the second finger on the B string, but I had never thought to apply this as the chord moves up the fret board. I will let you know how it works after a week or so.

tonyMemberHi Jeff,
You have made good choice to go with Real Guitar Success. Loads of support and advice from Tomas. I was flitting about with the various style lessons but I have now settled on the daily exercises to try and develop a better basic skill level. I try to get a short session each day before I start work.

tonyMemberHi Alan,
Good work.

tonyMemberHi Tomas,
I have not managed to download any of the tabs for the May challenge. I just get the in progress dots circling around, but the file never appears. Is this just me (again)?
