This has given me a good foundation on which to build. Your tips, techniques are terrific and your teaching style is very positive!
Thanks! Now I can focus on your guitar sessions!
Tomas, thanks for the shuffle video and list of songs. Hadn’t seen that video before. Very helpful. The Rolling Stones have an album that’s fairly recent called Blue and Lonesome that covers many classic blues songs.
As I worked thru this adventure, I really began to gain confidence in playing songs and determining how to strum and adjust the strum while playing.
Thanks Greg. I wanted integrate everything up to this point in this adventure. I’m glad to hear it’s working for you.
All of Tomas lessons are wonderful. They are well constructed with care and patience and for those that practice and put in the time they will get great results. Practice and watch yourself soar under these beautiful lessons he has created!
Tomas, I echo what the others have said. I have come so far since starting with Adventure 1. My notebook is overflowing with practice pieces, and now I need to go back over the strum patterns. I am looking forward to whatever comes next! Thank you!
I look back to the very first RGS lesson and how far I’ve come to this point. Especially the Barr cord journey. Guitar playing has become a new passion for me, that and Pickleball. People often ask me what do I do with all my free time and the their response after I tell them about learning to play the guitar is “Really!” Your lessons kept me sane during the Covid 19 crisis.
That’s awesome Bower! I’m glad to hear that.
Might seem like a dumb question but I’m curious… what is PickleBall?
With this adventure I found where I am at with my guitar practice. With all these budding skills, it will be interesting to see what comes up next. Luckily I enjoy practicing.
This adventure has set me on a different path musically. I’ve gone from starting by pounding out heavy metal to finger picking and writing simple melodies and really appreciating my acoustic guitar. This adventure was a very important step to me in terms of learning the craft and I feel I have gone from being a very poor strummer to a competent rhythm guitarist. The support during this course, the video lectures, everything, taught me what I needed to know and picked me up when I was down in the dumps about my progress. I recommend it to anybody. Thank you so much Tomas
Thank you Terry. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know how you’ve done with the course.
That was alot of fun.
I’m glad you liked it, Earnest.
To me this adventure was very important step. Because I love to play Rhythm section. Learned from you more strumming patterns. Wow! Great feeling. Thanks.
Loved This Adventure! Learned a lot. Thanks for the excellent teaching!
You’re very welcome Freddie.
