I really enjoyed this intro to using both the pic and fingers. I am hoping there are more lessons like this and especially a lesson(s) on the intro you played. It may take awhile for me to get there but I would like more of that. Thanks.
Hi John, I’m glad you like this. There are a lot more fingerstyle lessons coming… In fact, I’m on working diligently on another fingerstyle course that I’ll include with the membership. It will include some of the techniques I used in the intro (hammer-ons, pull-offs, and Travis picking). You’re right to think it is a process.
After finger picking for many years I am learning to use your technique with the pick and it is becoming easier for the picking parts, but I am still poor at strumming with a pick!
That is a wonderful picking pattern & also movable this can get very interesting in writing your own chord progression just an idea?….
