I find it most important to memorize the notes on the 5th and 6th strings first. When you know these you can start to play moveable chords and scales all over the fretboard. From there I have many tricks to find the notes on other strings based on these two.
If you’re familiar with the 80/20 rule, you can think of these two strings as the 80%.

Thank you makes sense to learn the 6th & 5th string notes . What I learned here is the sharps & flats are one of the same note depending which way we are moving up or down the neck respectively….
