This is maybe a weird question. In the 3rd measure we play A on the 2nd fret of the 3rd string. In the 4th measure that string is played open.

At what point do you remove your finger. I’m taking it off right before I come back to play the string open. Otherwise, I feel like I’m dividing my attention.

That’s a personal choice, Kevin. There’s no absolute “right” way. You can watch the video to see how I do it, but if there’s a different way that works for you it’s fine.

If you want to watch the video and tab at the same time, you can click the picture-in-picture icon next to the gear at the bottom of the video (hover over it and you’ll see the words picture-in-picture). That way you can place the video on top of the tab and see both.

Thanks for that, Tomas. I will do that. And that’s a good tip for the future as well.

Suggestion: It would be helpful if you put the chord that the measure is based on right on the tab sheet that would be helpful. That way I don’t have to print out and write it in. :-)…

Thanks for the feedback, Victor. I’ll consider that for future lessons.
