Hello everyone…again! I’ve been struggling staying the course, probably my age. I have been so off and on with practicing. I need to find a better way to stick with it I guess. I have the time now with the Q, will do better!
I’m Jack. You are not alone many of us have struggled with this.
Tomas is a great guy with his heart in the right place. I’ve been
around hear quite a while. Tomas teaches a very broad curriculum
and can be challenging to follow (Tomas I still Love you)
What I do is pick out one or two things that interest me and put a lot
of emphasis on them and broad brush the rest. For me it’s chords.
I work with them up and down the fretboard, build progressions,
use different voicings (varied forms of the same chord) and play them
with varied methods and emphasis. (styles)
I actually think some of my sruff sounds pretty good (:
And by the way, I’m old (80)
Keep up the good work,
Hi Steven, It’s nice to hear from you. Maybe I could offer some suggestions to help. Tell me a little about what you’re working on now and what you like to play.
