Hi all,

I’m Sandy from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  I’ve been trying to teach myself guitar for a little over a year now.  Trying to make it a daily practice now so that I can really get better!  I’ve always loved the sound of acoustic guitar and especially Spanish guitar.  I have a very talented family who likes to play and sing around campfires and at family gatherings.  I’d love to be able to play along.

Great to have you here. Nice to know you like Spanish guitar along with acoustic guitar.

I look forward to encouraging you and supporting you.

Please don’t be shy about asking questions here in the community and hopefully adding some your experience as well. It helps everybody.

If you’re just getting started I’d recommend going through the Roadmap – Beginner’s Journey. That’s the most efficient way to get the basics.

Of course feel free to roam around an experiment.
