Monthly Practice Plan – August 2020

· July 6, 2020

Hey there! I hope this finds you well and in good spirits. Playing guitar is much more than a hobby. People have used guitar (and music in general) as a creative outlet and a way to express themselves for a very long time. It can be cathartic, uplifting, a good distraction, and even just a fun way to spend an hour or two. That’s where a lot of the fun in playing guitar is.

Sometimes it can feel like work learning the guitar. And to some point it can be. After all, developing any skill takes time and intentionality. But the payoff is huge! So I like to make these lesson plans as fun and diverse as I can. It’s great if you can get through all of the lessons every month. But even if you can’t you’re still learning and growing as a guitarist.

This month we have a nice mix of melodies, new and familiar chord progressions, and some really cool Flamenco inspired songs. So whenever you’re ready, grab your guitar, tune up, and let’s dive in!
