I started using a thumb pick some time ago. I use a Dunlop medium that works good. I had Dunlop large and apparently it’s not to do with the size of the thumb. It’s the heaviness and thickness of the pick. The medium works great. I couldn’t get the hang of good sound with just my thumb.

Taking my time with certain lessons sure does help when we come across other lessons that are not so demanding does that make sense?
