    Hi  I don’t have an answer for this but I have the same question…so TY for asking…maybe someone can help.  How do you get to the next chord in time when your left hand is holding down that last note on the prior chord? TY

    Thank you and congratulations to you.  I am a new grandma too. It is the best. They touch the strings and their eyes light up.

    Interesting note to your first lesson chords E and Am. I know you explained that the fingering you use are just 2. I know a “few” chords and use 3 fingers for those chords, so at first I was confused until I realized it did not matter. The exercise starts with the 4th and then 3rd string so the fact that I am holding down the extra string does not matter.

    I know you can laugh but for me it was a little ah ha moment.
