I’m a pretty good collector but a perpetual beginner, putting my guitars away for years at a time and then starting over! I started over a few months ago, mostly the classical (nylon) which is what I’ve had most of my instruction in, and a little strumming on the acoustic. I love electric guitar. Maybe someday I’ll feel like exploring that some more. I can read music!

I live in Kernersville, NC, and would love to meet some other novice classical players to learn with and play some duets.

    Hi James,

Thanks for introducing yourself—it’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m really looking forward to supporting you and encouraging you in any way I can.

Lately, I’ve noticed more students are posting their questions directly below the lesson videos, which totally works. In fact, it’s often the quickest way to get a response from me since I can see exactly which video the question is about. That said, I’d love to see more activity in the forum too—it’s a great place to get feedback from other students and feel more connected to the community. If you have any ideas on how I could help encourage that, I’m all ears.

Where are you at with the Real Guitar Success lessons right now? Are you working through one of the courses, or mostly sticking with the Guitar Sessions?

Looking forward to hearing more about your journey!

    Tomas
