there seems to be a debate about whether it’s better to just play simplified versions of songs or just do exercises so some day you’re ready to play songs. for my part i’d like to have solid technique so i can eventually get beyond the level 1 beginner version of songs. with features like the guitar gym i think this site can help me get there. guitar center had a deal on the gs mini for black friday so i can’t blame my equipment any more! it’s definitely me.
