That really does sound frustrating. I’d love to understand your situation a bit better so I can see if there’s anything I can suggest that might help.
From what you shared, it sounds like you and your instructor have talked about this and he’s offered some recommendations. Are you finding that those haven’t helped, or are you just not feeling confident about how to put them into practice?
Also, you mentioned picking up a 12-string guitar—did you end up putting just six strings on it to give yourself more space between the strings?
