I know there are thousands of variations of this musical piece. Here is something that may add a little variety to going back to the E from playing the F note fourth string 3rd fret I “walk into the E chord by continuing the arpeggio rhythm on the G# third string first fret and then land my middle finger on the E note fourth string second fret without the arpeggio, this way you are on the E chord getting ready to start the sequence all over again. For me what this does is it gives me a “rest,” before continuing the rest of the sequence. I do this for two reasons it adds my own flare to the piece, but because of my handicap I need to have the quick break as a rest to let my fingers “regroup,” or else I find I am all “thumbs,” (pun intended.) and can’t maintain playing at speed. At speed if my memory serves me correctly is around 132 bpm.
