I find it interesting how important the ( ii V I ) progression is to Jazz.
the other thing I notice is (and thank you Tomas, I got this form an earlier lesson in this course)
the ii in the progression leads to the V because the ii is the fifth in the scale of the V in the ii V I .
just how cool is that! It really opens the door for longer progressions.
