Three Blues Licks in G
In this session, we’re digging into licks—short, expressive phrases you can plug right into your solos to bring them to life.
You’ll learn three licks at each of three levels, all built from the G minor pentatonic scale. But this isn’t just about memorizing notes. We’ll focus on rhythm, feel, and subtle phrasing techniques like slides, hammer-ons, and even a bit of vibrato. You’ll practice getting the timing just right, experiment with your own variations, and start to build a “vocabulary” you can draw from anytime you jam.
This session isn’t about playing fast or flashy—it’s about making a few notes sound great. Think of these licks as building blocks you can make your own over time. I’ll walk you through each one, step-by-step, with space to play along and get them into your fingers.
