Show Me The Way
Today you’ll learn a fiery Latin-style lick that builds right on top of what we started yesterday. If you enjoyed that rake technique, you’ll love how it sets the stage for this melodic phrase full of pull-offs, slides, and some cool harmonies.
The best part? You don’t need to tackle the whole thing at once. I walk you through three versions—from a full, advanced version to a simplified beginner-friendly option. Even if you just focus on the pull-off part, you’ll still get a great workout for your fingers.
Take your time, break it down, and go at your own pace. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about learning a new flavor and building a skill you can come back to again and again.

I am with Kevin. My volume is lost on the slide from B to B flat. I am hoping that when (if) I can get the speed up a bit, it will ring out more.
I find that I can’t get the pull offs and hammer ons to sound properly on my nylon string guitar, but when I pulled out my steel string acoustic I got the sound. Is it possible at all to get good double pull offs and then a hammer on, on a nylon string guitar?
The pull offs are good. I lose the volume on the slide so mostly can’t hear the hammer on. It’s fun to play with tho.
I can’t get the B to ring without picking. Otherwise it’s too soft. I keep pulling the e string off the fret board
