I am a disabled combat veteran and have difficulties with learning guitar. It may take me a little bit longer but I’ll get it! After a few surgeries and recovery time,I am finally getting back into this and have missed it a lot! I have been playing along on my electric guitar but am not as confident,so I have recently ordered an acoustic guitar and am looking forward to that. Thanks for being so patient Mr.Michaud.
You have exactly the right idea of Michael. Start slow as you need to and then pick up speed little by little until you can play along with the track. This idea works with more advanced material also.

Will practice and come back. This beat is continuous. So will play with a timer. Can start 50 bpm and then go up slowly to 80.
