Me too. Thanks for showing Bass runs , this was a Mistry to me for so many years. The Bass strums are like salt to a melody and music. When you miss it you know it. Great lesson today. Little complicated in counting properly. Now that I know, Bass players work a little harder than others. Two groups I know, the Bass player is the leader of those groups!
Thanks Tomas. Bass runs are something that I’ve been trying to learn for ages. The big mystery was how it fits into the count. I think I’ve got it now.
That’s great Shulamit. There’s no one right way… But in 4/4 time I’d start by using the last two beats for the bass run. I just filmed this were I show some options: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76Z4Tz1TeW8
Excellent always wanted to learn how this was done. Need more practices on this….thanks

Bass runs are cool. They add some flavor to boring chords.
