I seem to be ok playing “without the band”, yet when it comes to keeping up with the band, I have a lot of trouble keeping up and eventually lose the hitting the notes as well. Would you recommend that I keep practicing this lesson (along with the band) and eventually the speed will pick up, before moving on (it seems that the next bunch of lessons are very much building on each other)? Thank you!
I am happy to updatw- that after much practice using just the Tab Sheet (particularly the 3rd and 4th measure, which I was having trouble with), I am now able to keep up “with the band”. I’m encouraged to see that much practice does make a huge difference.
thank you for making these lessons personable lol
Nice! Thank you

That’s great! Thanks for letting me know.
I have a similar experience learning new songs and playing them with a live band 🙂
I had the same problem getting lost in keeping up with the band. Now I know to just keep practicing more.
Thank you,
Penny
