If I can change from the full chords what is the purpose of doing the simple chords? Thou playing the simple chords definitely sound nice. Also, do you have a chart of the simple chords? I will try and play a song just using simple chords.
The main reason I use simple chords in this course is to train smooth chord changes. When students start with full chords, I’ve noticed they often get stuck thinking about fingering instead of learning how to move cleanly from one chord to the next.
There’s also a second benefit. These shapes are actually very practical and continue to be useful as you progress.
I don’t provide a separate chart for them because the goal is to memorize them as you go through the lessons. If they’re not sticking yet, I’d suggest revisiting those lessons and focusing on that aspect for a bit.
