Hola Tomas. I have a question about the road to barcelona. I read music so I’m assuming the A the G the C the E and G sharp are played the way you taught us in the lesson with the picking pattern. How about the B is that open string? I’m assuming so since there were no B type chords in the lesson. Thanks
I really like how you break everything down.
You present the fingeing for the chords as a whole, for example E is 1st string 3rd fret and 2 open strings. You don’t mention that the individual notes are G #, B and E. Would you suggest we learn that or would we just confuse ourselves by doing that?
Tom, I wouldn’t worry about the names of the notes right now. Spend your time getting the form with your fingers quick and fluid, and listen to the sound carefully. They’ll be a time later to fill in some of that theory side.
I’d prefer not to dictate a specific BPM. I’d prefer you use your ears and decide when it sounds good enough to you to go to the next lesson. That may change over time as you get more experience. That’s why reviewing from time to time is useful.

The B note is the open second string.

How many bpm would you like us to work up to comfortably?
