- DESCRIPTION
All Major and minor chords are made up of three notes: the root, third, and fifth. When you play a full E Major chord, you’re duplicating some notes in different registers. But you’re still only playing the root, third, and fifth.
Baby chords are essentially partial chords. Instead of playing the full chord you’re only playing the three notes that make up the chord. The root, third, and fifth. These are also called triads.
