Monthly Practice Plan – April 2020

I hope this practice plan finds you well and in good health! We’re living in a strange time right now. If you’re like me, you’re stuck at home for the next couple of weeks (or more). This is a great opportunity to spend intentional time practicing guitar.

It can be hard to feel grounded when you get outside of your normal routine. So I would recommend creating a new temporary routine for the time that you’re at home. You might find that you’re more motivated to play guitar at a different time. Or you can practice longer.

Think about some of the things you’d really like to work on. Is it fingerpicking? New chords? Maybe working on playing licks faster and cleaner?

Now is a perfect time to work on those things and build some momentum. This month’s practice plan has all of these things and more. So if you’re ready, grab your guitar, tune up, and let’s dive in!
