What is the written notation symbols for a hammer on or a pull off?

In guitar tablature, a hammer-on is written with the letter “h” between two fret numbers. For example, 5h7 means you pick the 5th fret and then hammer your finger down on the 7th fret of the same string without picking again.

A pull-off is written with the letter “p” between two fret numbers. For example, 7p5 means you pluck the 7th fret and then pull your finger off so the note at the 5th fret rings out.

In standard notation, both hammer-ons and pull-offs are shown using a curved slur line (an arc) that connects the two notes. The slur means the second note is played without picking again. If the second note is higher in pitch, it’s a hammer-on. If it’s lower, it’s a pull-off.
