Just like the B Major chord, the standard B minor chord is a bar chord. And just like the B Major chord, we can play a partial B minor chord.
While we work up to bar chords, keep in mind that partial chords also have a unique purpose. Just like full chords do. They have a different sound that can provide different ‘moods’ to songs and progressions.

Hi Tomas, with out thinking of a Bar code, can I just position fingers 1,2,3,and 4 straight line up. 3 and 4 finger tips just fit inside fret 4 of both G and B strings. Sounds same as bar code B m.
Hmmm… not exactly the sound of Bm.
A point though since I am following Adventure 1, 2, 3 and then 4 now, thus far we have not learned a B major from the previous lessons.
