this stuff is like night and day from a electric to an acoustic. granted my fingers are raw lol and its been forever but woosh… Its kind of like riding a bicycle to work instead of driving a car lol… So hoping for the benefit of all that extra physical effort and pain it takes on acoustic lol. the bar cords actually tough to get them with no mutes even when im not sore lower on my index finger.

Hi Tomas – I am beginning to get the bar with the first finger and add the 2nd finger to the 3rd string 2nd fret but because I have shortish fingers, when I try to add the 3rd finger I have to flatten that finger out and it winds up deadening the 3rd string. Any tips, will keep trying.

Was it my imagination or is the word “Persistent” misspelled in the flashby message? I? think the second “s” is missing… I could be wrong.

Hah… good work Jack! That was a technique I use to see if anyone is paying attention. 🙂

… just kidding. Thanks for letting me know.

I can’t seem to find the video you created to help practice and exercises for learning bar chords (mentioned at 4:20). Would you be able to add the link again? Thank you!

It’s fixed.

Hi Tomas, the “infamous” Infamous F Chord lesson has me blockedfrom moving on. How do I get passed this?
Thank you.

Hi Matt and Jacopo… This happens because there was a topic (kindof a sub-lesson) attached to the lesson before that wasn’t checked off. I see this happen a lot. Because of this, I’ve decided to change the course so that you don’t have to check off the lesson before to continue. You have no problem now though I still recommend at least checking out those topics when they come up.

In later lessons, I don’t use topics because of this. I just add more lessons. It seemed like a cool organizational feature but I’ve had more issues with this than anything else.

I was going to write “it’s because you haven’t nailed the F chord yet and the computer knows”… but I was afraid someone might take me seriously. 🙂

Same question as Nimal above
I’m stuck and can’t continue to “Infamous F chord”

Hi Jacobo, You can continue now… you may want to read the comment above to understand what’s going on.
