Hammer-ons and pull-offs are great techniques you can use in a ton of different ways. You can use them to embellish chords in your rhythm playing. Or you can use them in your lead playing.

Here’s a cool lick that uses a lot of hammer-pulls moving up and down the fretboard. Practice this one with a metronome at a slow tempo. Once you start to get it down you can increase the tempo little by little.
