Double stops are two notes being played at the same time. They’re not chords, but they are harmonized notes. In our lesson today these notes are third harmonies. The harmony is three notes up in the scale from the first note. Sometimes they’ll be Major thirds and sometimes they’ll be minor thirds.
We’ll dive deeper into the music theory in another lesson. But see if you can identify the Major and minor thirds just by ear!
